Surrounded by wide open spaces and natural beauty you will be in the position to see what emerges when you free yourself up from judgment and criticism.
This is a great way to connect with your desires for living with more joy, presence and expansiveness. This is a time for you to come out of your thoughts of figuring things out and into a place of receiving guidance from within or perhaps from nature itself.
These creative retreats take place in Julie’s personal painting studio in the northern New Mexico town of El Rito. Approximately one hour from Santa Fe and Taos, El Rito provides you access to nearby hot springs, sacred sights and hiking trails. You will be immersed in this rural setting which provides a slower pace in which you can easily unwind in.
These retreats are for most suited for those of you already in the process of metamorphosis. This is your place for new insights, guidance, breakthroughs and finding new seeds towards embodiment.

What will you experience in the 2024 one day retreats?
Morning guided creative exercises
A great way to stretch your comfort zone, these exercises are engaging, irreverent and an easy way to connect to your unique creative voice and process through spontaneity and play. No thinking allowed.
A day of creative immersion
Plenty of time to explore and adventure with paint as you are guided through intuitive painting and other creative play.
Nature’s Pace
The fields and openness of the rural high desert fills the studio space with a gentle slow pace. You will have space to be, to listen, be nurtured, be inspired, and connect to what I call “source” in your own way.
Sacred space environment
We begin each day in silence and personal check-ins. The space in which we gather is the secret sauce to unfolding with grace. You will be invited to connect deeply with yourself and your intuitions.
Inspired music and poetry are integrated into the retreat experience, providing a supportive creative backdrop and connection to femininity, flow, the divine.
You call this lunch? I invite you to bring your own lunch. I will provide a basic snack of turkey/cheese/crackers/apples/chocolate to help those of you unable to bring your own food.
One on one time on Sunday (Optional)
You are invited to sign up for an individual coaching session with me on Sunday to help you deepen your Saturday experience and begin integrating it.
Materials
I provide the art materials.
We will be painting with acrylics and playing with a variety of drawing tools.
